HeatSaver Thermal Shades

Fabric Options

You are welcome to choose most any finish fabric that is appealing to your needs and decor. Keep in
mind your shades will be in place for many years! The fabric you choose should have some degree
of inherent strength and stability. We will adjust the price based on your final decision and reserve
the right to bid manufacturing based on your selection.

We will need to know the manufacturer, color name and/or number, pattern repeat (if there is one)
and available widths. We will order the material to be sure of adequate quantities.

When your fabric arrives, we'll send you a swatch for your final approval prior to manufacturing.

Window Insulation

We insulated all of the windows with HeatSaver® in this home west of Denver. In the den, living room
and dining area they chose natural linen as the finish fabric. In the solarium, with it's tall windows, our
beige nylon material worked quite well.

Nylon - Natural Linen
Nylon - Natural Linen

Our stock 300 denier nylon has been dyed to a natural linen color, and treated with a water repellant
and non-toxic flame retardant. This fabric is the most durable, easiest to keep clean and is available at no extra charge.

Included below are a few fabrics we have found to be suitable for price, durability and consistent
quality. Choosing a neutral background color is always a safe bet. Other decorative window
treatments can always be installed over your shades.

We are pleased to offer these Linens at $16.00 per yard..

When choosing a fabric other than our nylon, divide the retail price per yard by 9 in order to find your
price per square foot. That will then be added to the final price of your shades. Shipping costs for
your fabric may not be a factor as most materials are readily available in the Chicago market. We
suggest that you treat your chosen fabric with Scotchgard® or an equivalent prior to installation.
Clean with a vacuum, damp sponge or cloth. Dry cleaning could damage your shades and will void
your warranty.
